Hostel Kucha has 9 rooms over three floors: mixed dorms, one female-only dorm, and private rooms, some with their own bathroom. Each room has a Bosnian theme. Young local architects and graphic designers designed them.

Beds have hotel-quality mattresses, your own power outlet and reading light, and a big locker (bring your own padlock). Downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, a big dining table and a comfy lounge. Outside is a large terrace with views of the city and the mountains. It is open all year, until 10pm.

We are a short walk up the hill from the Old Town. The Cathedral is 12 minutes' walk down, Baščaršija 19. There is a supermarket next door, and a bakery, a butcher and a greengrocer close by.

Safe, and no curfew

Only guests with keys can get into the hostel. Reception is open 8am to 11pm, but there is no curfew and someone is always around. Arriving late? Message us a day or two before.

Families welcome

Families are welcome to stay with us. We do not have cribs, so please plan for that if you travel with a baby.
